These terms apply to your use of the website at barrierledger.com (the “Website”), operated by Front End Engineering Consultancy Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (Business Registration No. 75797664), with its registered office at Unit B6, 12th Floor, Wing Wah Building, No. 677 King’s Road, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong, trading as FEEC (“FEEC”, “we”, “us”). By using the Website you accept these terms.
Use of the BarrierLedger platform itself is governed by the Terms of Service and your signed order form, not by these terms.
1. Information only
1.1 The Website describes the BarrierLedger product, its method, pricing, security practices and related engineering services. It is for general information.
1.2 No advice. Nothing on the Website is legal, regulatory or engineering advice. Descriptions of standards, regulations and integrity methods are summaries and may not be complete or current. Do not rely on them for a regulatory submission or an operating decision without competent professional advice.
1.3 No offer. Prices, plans, feature lists and estimates on the Website, including the price builder, are indicative, may change and are not an offer capable of acceptance. Only a signed order form is binding.
1.4 Planned features. Features marked “Planned” are not yet generally available. Plans may change, and they are confirmed with you before they are included in an order.
1.5 Demo data. Screenshots and walkthrough screens show the fictional Demo Petroleum tenant. No real operator’s data is shown, and no real operator is named or depicted as a user.
2. Intellectual property
2.1 The Website and its content (text, graphics, logos, design and code) belong to FEEC or its licensors. “BarrierLedger” and “FEEC” and their logos are FEEC’s marks.
2.2 You may view and print pages for your own internal information, and quote short extracts with attribution and a link. You must not otherwise copy, republish or commercially exploit Website content, or use our marks, without our written permission.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use the Website in a way that is unlawful, that interferes with its operation or security (including probing, scanning or attacking it, except under the disclosure process on the security page), that scrapes it at a volume that burdens it, or that submits false information or malicious content through its forms.
4. Links
The Website links to third-party sites, such as regulators and standards bodies. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement, and it does not mean the third party endorses BarrierLedger.
5. Your submissions
If you send us information through a form, you confirm it is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. We handle personal data as described in the Privacy Notice. Please do not send well data or other confidential information through the Website’s forms unless we have agreed confidentiality terms with you.
6. Availability
We may change, suspend or withdraw the Website or any part of it at any time. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
7.1 The Website is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and representations about the Website and its content, including accuracy, completeness and fitness for a particular purpose.
7.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the Website or its content, including indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits or data, and regulatory fines or penalties.
7.3 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by publishing a new version on the Website. The version in force when you use the Website applies.
9. Governing law
Any dispute about the Website is governed by the law and forum FEEC confirms in writing on request. Disputes under a signed order form are resolved as that order form sets out.
